Golestan Place  as one of the complexes that has been built in different eras ,is located in Arg square of Tehran and due to its long history  which is around 422 years , it’s beautiful art works that is the symbol of awesome works  of Iranian artists and  also some important happenings (events)   that had happened there , is  one the most important palaces of Iran and Tehran .

It is the 16th Iranian site that is registered in UNESCO world heritage site in 2013 and its name is derived from the name of Golestan Hall.

Golestan Palace was built in Safavid era in old part of Tehran and developed in Qajar time as the permanent residence of its kings. In Pahlavi Dynasty, it is used for formal ceremonies and temporary residence of special guests and presidents of other countries.

This palace has had two Andaruni and Birooni parts that its Andaruni part was destroyed by Reza Shah Pahlavi . “Eyvan takhte marmar “and “Karim Khani Nook (Khalvat e Karim Khani) “ are the oldest building of this complex that belongs to Karim khan Zand era .
